Life Rolls On needs volunteers in four different roles. Please read through these roles before signing up!

THEY WILL SURF AGAIN
ROCKAWAY BEACH NEW YORK

Saturday July 18 2015 / 8:00 am to 3:00 pm

Early Morning Set-up, 6:30 am to 8:00 am
Don’t have time to spend the whole day at an event? No problem! Volunteer for Early Morning Set-up. This role is so important…it sets the tone for the whole event, helping it run smoothly for the athletes, their families, sponsors, and athlete coaches. Make it a great morning…get your family and friends to sign up, too! Set-up volunteers unload tables, flags and tents, food and beverages, registration materials, equipment, etc. … and get it all set up. The more people we have, the faster it will go!

Surfers / Adaptive Athlete Coaches
Our adaptive surfers arrive in every age group and every ability level. We need you to lend a helping hand where needed. You’ll leave the event on a high, in love with this wonderful life we’ve been given. Get on board!

Please note: you do not have to be a pro surfer to be an awesome volunteer. However, you do need to be very comfortable in the water, a strong swimmer…and surfing experience is a plus! In the registration form below, there are three levels of surfing volunteer: shallow water, mid-level water and deep water. Please select where you are most comfortable and confident.

Chill Zone
Helping the athletes and families on the beach is just as important as jumping in the water! We need outgoing, enthusiastic volunteers to take charge of Registration, food and beverage tables, LRO Merchandise, equipment checkout, etc.

Afternoon Breakdown, 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm
Are you a can-do, take charge person? Please sign up for Afternoon Breakdown! We need an amazing crew to miraculously get tables, tents, flags, materials, equipment, etc. back in the truck, and back to storage.
