BFL Materials
Barrier Free Living’s Non-Residential Domestic Violence Program completes over 150 trainings annually, educating the community on issues concerning domestic violence and disabilities.
Current Trainings
Topics developed and implemented by our team range from Domestic Violence in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community to Teen Dating Violence. We have also developed specially tailored presentations for varied groups.
Our team has recently presented at statewide and national conferences (National Center for Crime Victims conference in Washington, D.C.; New York State Coalition on Sexual Assault’s Victims Assistance Academy, Buffalo, NY).
BFL is developing a DV/Disabililty training curriculum for local and national trainings in 2008.
