Non-Residential Domestic Violence Program Living Skill Groups


Stress Management Group
Assists clients to identify and manage stress in various environments and beyond.  Clients will focus on increasing their awareness of stressors and their physical manifestations while understanding the importance of and exploring options for stress relief in a supportive environment. 

Job Seekers Group 
Addresses skills necessary when considering employment.  Includes getting ready for an interview: interests, evaluation of one’s skills, hygiene, appropriate dress, communication skills, and effective writing skills.  Clients will become aware of the Americans with Disabilities Act provisions for the disabled with respect to employment.

Cycle of Violence Group 
Provides a forum for discussion and support for survivors of domestic violence.  This group is co-facilitated by the OT department and a case manager.
