I worked as a Social Worker @ BF from 2002-2004. It is a unique & very needed temporary shelter for the homeless disabled. The problem was that assisted people find affordable, accessible, integrated (able bodied & disabled, not a nursing home) was becoming more & more difficult. What was supposed to be a 4- 6 month temporary place to reside, was becoming home for many! That said, i have the utmost respect for Paul Feurstein who tried provide the best conditions for the residents there. I believe that BF feels that everyone deserves a decent place to live!
