My name is Melissa and I’m a victim of domestic violence and disabled. I’m in my 50’s and am homeless. I was staying with my sister in West Babylon after I had to leave my home in February of 2021, mostly because even though I was going to court to fight for my home my partner would withhold the rent to punish me.? After my sister said I had to leave I had no where to go so I had to go back to my abuser. I’ve been with him since early December. I’m really in a very bad way and I need help.
