Tommy Hilfiger Launches New Line For People With Disabilities
CNN reports on Tommy Hilfiger’s new line of clothing for people with disabilities.
The collection, which goes on sale Wednesday November 18, uses magnets and Velcro to make it easier for people to get dressed. The line has 37 styles for men and 34 for women — shirts, pants, jackets, sweaters and dresses.
“A lot of people with disabilities struggle with buying clothing that works,” says Cara Liebowitz, development coordinator at the National Council on Independent Living.
Good Afternoon,
I am writing to inquire about assistance with work readiness.
I am a new resident in the Elmhurst Hospital Halfway house, located at 81-30 Baxter Avenue, right across from Elmhurst Hospital, which owns and operates this halfway house.
I was seeking a resource or resources for proper work clothing for interviews and such.
Please let me know if your organization is able to help me with that, or perhaps you know of one that can.
A referral letter from Elmhurst can be provided.
Thank you,
Gary Baumann
