Barrier Free Living – Jack Fritts Award Winner 2025 Lynn Benoit

Barrier Free Living is proud to honor Lynn Benoit, CPA, with this year’s Jack Fritts Award.
Lynn joined Barrier Free Living in late 2024 as a volunteer to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of our finance team. In just a short time, she has had an extraordinary impact—introducing the RAMP system to improve workflows, providing deeper insight into spending, and building additional structure and accountability into our financial operations. Her expertise and generosity have strengthened our foundation and set us up for long-term success.
Lynn is a Certified Public Accountant and a Partner at Calabrese Consulting, with more than fifteen years of experience providing financial advisory, audit, and consultation services to complex global organizations. She specializes in capital market transactions, system implementations, business process improvements, new accounting standard implementations, and financial reporting.
Beyond her professional work, Lynn is deeply committed to giving back. She has volunteered in an eco-agriculture conservation program in Costa Rica and a six-month sustainable agriculture and economic development program in India. She also launched Finn’s Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that prepares teenagers and young adults for lifelong financial success through financial education, and serves as the executive sponsor of the Business Pathways Program at the high school in her hometown.
When she does take time away from accounting, Lynn can be found chasing frisbees and tennis balls at her dog’s (photo below) command—or training for her next marathon. She is currently preparing for the Berlin Marathon (September 2025) and the Tokyo Marathon (March 2026), which will mark her tenth marathon and her sixth Abbott World Marathon Major.
We are honored to celebrate Lynn’s leadership, passion, and commitment with the Jack Fritts Award.
