This week, Council Member Carlos Menchaca discusses the new City Council Initiative to create municipal ID cards for undocumented immigrants. Ray López, Director, Environmental Health & Family Asthma Program for LSA Family Health Service, Inc. and Fredy Cruz-Martinez, volunteer, client, and President of the Parents’ Support Group and Community Partnership Council with LSA, discusses their ID program and how the newly created municipal ID program will help their clients.
Tune in this Thursday, 7/10 at 6pm, when we interview Jeremy Reiss, Deputy Development Officer, Public Policy and External Relations for Henry Street Settlement on how they engage their community in a dynamic neighborhood. Melkis Alvarez-Baez, Associate Director for Special Programs at Nonprofit Coordinating Committee of New York, will discuss the Nonprofit Excellence Awards and her work improving nonprofits across New York.
