The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum’s Disability Awareness Month is a month-long series of programs, including family activities, specialized tours, and speaker events.

The goal of Disability Awareness Month is to bring together families, children, and adults with varying needs, and advocates who are involved with creating and supporting opportunities for them. This month celebrates our differences and raises awareness for bettering cultural experiences for everyone, including children and adults who are, or work with, people who are Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing, blind or low-vision, or are affected by autism.
